About this hackathon
The SmartAIthon 2026 Campus Ambassador Program is an opportunity for enthusiastic students to represent and promote SmartAIthon 2026 – IEEE Smart Cities AI Hackathon within their campus and student communities. Selected ambassadors will play a key role in expanding the reach of the hackathon through social media promotion, community outreach, and participant engagement. The program is designed to help students develop leadership, communication, networking, and community-building skills while contributing to a large-scale innovation initiative aligned with smart city and AI technologies. Ambassadors will work on promotional tasks such as sharing official posters, promoting the event on LinkedIn and social media, and encouraging student participation from their institutions and networks. Responsibilities: Promote SmartAIthon 2026 on LinkedIn and social media Share event posters in student communities and WhatsApp groups Increase awareness and participant registrations Support outreach activities during the hackathon timeline Benefits: Official Appreciation Certificate Recognition on SmartAIthon social media platforms Networking opportunities with students and organizers Community leadership and event management exposure Recognition: Ambassadors who successfully complete the assigned activities will receive an official Appreciation Certificate on August 25, 2026. Top-performing ambassadors based on outreach and registrations may receive special recognition. Selected ambassadors will be announced in multiple phases during the program timeline.
