MER2026-FG

MER-FG is now in its third edition. Human emotions are relatively complex, extending far beyond basic labels. In this track, participants can predict any number of emotion labels across diverse categories, expanding the recognition scope from basic emotions to more nuanced ones. This track helps in better understanding the nuanced emotional states. We utilize emotion wheel-based (EW-based) metrics for the final ranking: average F1 scores across five emotion wheels. This is part of the MER2026 Challenge at ACM Multimedia 2026.
