About the Event: AWS Student Builder Group (AWS SBG) Hackathon 2026 is a technology innovation challenge designed to encourage students to build impactful solutions using Cloud Computing, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Analytics, and emerging technologies. Participants will collaborate, innovate, and develop real-world solutions to address industry and societal challenges. Eligibility: Open to undergraduate and postgraduate students from all colleges and universities. Students from any department or specialization are eligible to participate. Inter-specialization teams are allowed. Theme: Good Health and Well Being (SDG-3) Quality Education (SDG-4) Sustainable Cities and Communities (SDG-11) Zero Hunger and Sustainable Agriculture(SDG-2) Open Innovation Competition Format: Round 1: Idea Submission Teams submit a problem statement and proposed solution. Round 2: Prototype Development Shortlisted teams develop a working prototype. Teams may use AWS services and other approved technologies. Round 3: Final Presentation & Demo Teams present their solution before the judging panel. Evaluation Criteria: Innovation and Creativity Technical Implementation Feasibility and Scalability User Experience Business/Social Impact Presentation and Demonstration Rules & Guidelines: All submissions must be original work. Plagiarism will result in immediate disqualification. Teams must register before the specified deadline. Participants must adhere to the code of conduct throughout the event. Use of open-source resources is permitted with proper attribution. Organizers reserve the right to modify schedules and rules if required. Decisions made by judges will be final and binding. Teams must submit all deliverables before the deadline. Any unethical, offensive, or inappropriate content will lead to disqualification. Multiple submissions by the same team are not permitted unless explicitly allowed. Deliverables: Project Source Code Presentation Deck (PPT/PDF) Project Documentation Demo Video (if required) Deployment Link (if applicable) Rewards & Benefits: E- Certificates for all participants.
