About this hackathon

AI for Public Good: Sustainable & Resilient Supply Chains Hackathon The Hackathon is being organized under the Indo-Swiss Research Grant in collaboration with researchers from ETH Zurich, the University of Lausanne, IIIT Allahabad and Manipal University Jaipur alongside WikiClub Tech. Participants will work on real-world challenges in sustainable and resilient supply chains using AI-driven and innovative approaches. Eligibility : Open to undergraduate, postgraduate, and PhD students from all recognized institutions. Students from any discipline are eligible to participate. Inter-college teams are allowed. Inter-specialization/inter-department teams are allowed. Team Formation: Participation is in teams of 1–3 members. Team members may belong to different colleges, universities, or academic disciplines. One participant can be a member of only one team. Problem Statement: A detailed problem statement will be provided by Lowe's India , focusing on sustainable and resilient supply chains. Participants are expected to propose innovative solutions addressing the challenge using AI and related technologies. Rules : All submissions must be original work created by the participating team. The use of AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, etc.) is permitted and encouraged. Teams must clearly explain how AI contributed to refining their solution. Any form of plagiarism will result in immediate disqualification. Teams must adhere to all submission deadlines and guidelines. Organizers reserve the right to modify timelines, evaluation procedures, or event details if required. The decision of the jury and organizing committee will be final and binding. Prizes & Opportunities: Certificates for winning teams. Mentorship and networking opportunities with international researchers and industry experts. Potential research, internship, and collaboration opportunities for outstanding participants.
