About the Competition: Bizzathon is an 18-hour hackathon where participants solve real-world problem statements provided by the judging panel at the start of the competition. Teams analyze the problem, develop an innovative and practical solution, and prepare a comprehensive presentation within the allotted time. The competition evaluates creativity, critical thinking, teamwork, and problem-solving under time constraints. Teams present their solutions before a panel of judges at the end of the hackathon. Solutions are evaluated based on innovation, feasibility, scalability, impact, presentation skills, and overall effectiveness. Participants gain hands-on experience, receive feedback from mentors and industry experts, and develop entrepreneurial and collaborative skills. Competition Format: Round 1: Online Quiz (Screening Round) Online aptitude and business quiz. Assesses analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and entrepreneurial knowledge. Top-performing teams qualify for the next round. Round 2: Business & Innovation Hackathon Real-world problem statement provided at the beginning of the hackathon. Teams get 18 hours to analyze the problem, develop innovative solutions, create a business or implementation strategy, and prepare the final presentation. Round 3: Final Presentation Teams present their solutions before the judging panel. Followed by a question-and-answer session. Evaluation is based on innovation, feasibility, scalability, business viability, presentation skills, problem-solving approach, and overall impact. Rules: Eligibility: Team size: 1–3 members. Open to students enrolled in any recognized university in India. Registration through Unstop before the deadline is mandatory. General Rules: Shortlisted teams must report to the venue at least 30 minutes before the event. Valid college ID cards are mandatory for verification. Professional conduct must be maintained throughout the event. Problem statement will be revealed only at the beginning of the hackathon. Teams must work only on the assigned problem statement. Internet and publicly available resources may be used unless stated otherwise. Plagiarism, malpractice, or unfair practices will result in immediate disqualification. Judges' and organizers' decisions will be final and binding. Organizers reserve the right to modify the schedule, rules, or format if required. Any dispute will be resolved by the Organizing Team, whose decision will be final. Submission Guidelines: Only teams shortlisted through the screening quiz can participate in the hackathon. Final presentation must be submitted in PPT or PDF format before the announced deadline. Only one final submission per team is allowed. The submitted solution must be the team's original work. Teams must carry offline copies of the presentation in both PPT and PDF formats. Each team will receive a fixed presentation time followed by a Q&A session. All presentations and interactions must be conducted in English.
